At Hope Ridge Ranch our hay is sourced from multiple parts of North America. While we have only been in the Florida area for 12 years, we bring years of experience to the hay business. My husband and his family have been growing and cutting hay in Western Kentucky for over 150 years. As for me I am just a western girl growing up on the northern rim of the South Park Basin of Colorado, where the western culture is not just a way to live it is a way of life. The combination of our two backgrounds suits the horse hay industry well in Florida. We have found that our connections in the industry allow us to find the right hay at the right price for almost any customers. While we do have some hay that is brokered into our barn, we do have hay that is either grown and cut by friends and family members throughout the US.

While these hay types are available it is best to call ahead to verify that it is in stock. Due to the variety of hay and the parts of the country that they come from, we do not carry some of the hay year-round due to the heat and humidity of Florida. Most of our eastern hay is only available in the winter, and through June.
While we do not have a retail location, but we do have times that we do have hay available at our partner location in Dade City. We specialize in delivery of hay straight to your location. Our trucks carry 63 to 80 bales, if your location is large enough, we can bring in our trailers we can bring larger quantities. There is a minimum order, unless you schedule on a larger delivery to your area. We deliver to Odessa, Lutz, Spring Hill, Brooksville, Shady Hills, Weeki Wachi Wesley Chapel, Zephyrhills, will deliver larger orders further for additional fee.
We value our customers and we here for your support, but hay is a very hard to store in Florida. Proper hay storage is very critical in the life of the hay, if it is stored in confined spaces with no air flow it will dry out in the Florida heat. If the hay is not protected properly from the elements in Florida, hay will mold quickly. So, we will only guarantee hay for 3 days after delivery.
Hay pricing is based on the type of hay you desire, quantity and frequency. Barn deliveries on a weekly bases can call Sharon at 727-313-1128 for pricing.
